You are 1 in 400,000,000,000,000
1 in 400 trillion — those are the odds of YOU being born!
Isn’t that amazing?
Can you believe how inherently and amazingly special YOU are?
That you have a unique purpose on this earth?
That your existence isn’t a coincidence, but part of a divine plan?
That’s who you are, and you owe it to yourself to celebrate yourself!
You might go through the shittiest of days right now, questioning everything in life with tears streaming down your face. Maybe you just went through a breakup, or maybe you got rejected from that school you worked so hard to get into. Maybe you don’t feel loved by your parents or friends, or maybe life just feels heavy right now and you’re not sure why.
Whatever it might be, I want you to know that, based on the odds, the fact that you exist is enough for you to have value.
That means that you are not determined by your body or your face, your grades or social skills, how successful you are in the eyes of society nor the validation you get from others, whether it be family or friends. And although those things could surely help you elevate in your life, what you need right now is a foundation to start off on — you need to know your base level worth as a human being. Because without a foundation, you won’t be able to build a house.
The foundation is what you build between yourself and God
He will strengthen you, guide you and validate you like the perfect father he is, and your job is to build a relationship with him. God loves you for WHO YOU ARE because he created you to be WHO YOU ARE. Hence, hating or disliking yourself is ultimately an insult to God and the mother and father who brought you into this world.
And for those of you who don’t believe in God and refuse to seek him, this step will be a bit harder, since you ultimately will put the pressure of figuring life out solely on your own shoulders. That used to be me, so I know.
Anyhow, I believe we can all agree that 1 in 400 trillion is pretty darn astounding and if you need to repeat that to yourself a thousand times to believe it, I highly recommend you doing so.
For I find it hard to believe that we were created 1 in 400 trillion just so that we could talk down on ourselves and be mean to the reflection staring back at us in the mirror!
I mean… That’s not such a good start of a self love journey, is it?
And if you still don’t feel better — think about that sperm!
Have you ever tried jogging? I feel drained after 10 minutes. Imagine running a nerv wrecking race determining whether or not you will get to continue to live. That’s what that sperm went through the moments before entering your mother’s egg and winning the race.
Intense! What a champion!
That means that, even before you were conceived, you’ve been fighting for your right to live. You’re still that sperm! You’re still a fighter!
“But my parents didn’t plan to have me, so this doesn’t apply to me”
Oh it certainly does, because you’re here! You are a living breathing thing. And even if your parents didn’t even want you, you are still here for a reason. Even if you have been through huge amounts of hardships, letdowns and sufferings, God might’ve used that in your life to produce character and turn you into a strong leader or a healer for other people.
All you have to do is choose.
Are you going to become better, or are you going to succumb to the negative thought patterns produced in your mind? Think about the different outcomes of those two choices and attach a person to each of those outcomes. Who would you want to be?
It all starts with love.
And if you haven’t heard it today, or ever in your life:
I love you
I believe in you
And I am confident that you can live the life you were created to live
For God is in you.
Blessings! You got this! ❤
